The book was written by two enthusiastic air sports enthusiasts.

Peter Blokker is an alpinist, paraglider, paramotor instructor, wingsuit flyer, and BASE jumper. He is the owner of Pedro Verticalo Adventures.

Bastienne Wentzel is a paraglider pilot, editor-in-chief of the air sports magazine Lift, and a science journalist. She works for the international free flight magazine Cross Country and is the lead author of the English-language paragliding book “Paragliding – The Beginner’s Guide”.
